On Saturday, exactly 31 weeks or 217 days since our last gig, we take up the guitars, banjo, ukuleles and once more take to the stage. It's been a long time coming and I am gasping to get back on stage. Our comeback gig was due to take place on Tuesday but was cancelled at the last minute. The pressure really is on as the venue for our gig is a private house gig for over 50 people!
We'll be heading off to the home of the Harrison's along with local folk chap Wes Finch. Thanks again go to Twitter for introducing us to the Harrisons. We're having a monumental practice tonight to get us ready for the gig. Even though we've not been gigging, we have met up a handful of times in the past month to play and it sounds as if we haven't been away. I really hope I don't regret saying those words.
Our first review of 2012's gig will be posted on the Sunday or Monday and we'll no doubt tweet news and pictures from the gig too as it happens. Expect fireworks.
