BBC Band of the Month for August

We have been picked from the thousands and thousands of bands across the huge land mass that is Coventry and Warwickshire to be featured as BBC Coventry and Warwickshire's Band of the Month. We've been interviewed several times before on the 'Introducing...' show but never been BOTM. This basically means that tomorrow, we'll go and meet Sarah Bygrave, who interviewed us about a year ago, and have a lenghtly conversation about all things Barricades. The interview will then be split in two and played this Thursday and Saturday (8pm)then next Thursday and Saturday (8pm). We'll have at least 1 song maybe 2 on the show for the next month. This is all because we are finally back to gigging from Aug 14th at the Kasbah.

We met up for the first time with guitars last night and it felt good to go through a few of the songs and to mould our new ideas together. Hopefully we'll have something new to release around October.
